The PPP-prize winners are . . .

On March 14th the Purple Podded Peas blog was three years old. I was far away on my holiday in the sun with Cliff, so I left you to chat – and if you did your name was put into the proverbial hat for a prize draw.

The 38 names were pasted at random on a grid and I enlisted the help of the under gardeners to select three winners. The PPP-prize draw took place early this morning in the sunshine, here is the motion picture of the event, with a musical accompaniment by national treasures, Mr Tom Jones and Mr Jools Holland . . .

. . . over to you Tarragon . . .

So, Anneliese, Rhiannon and Janette & Nick you are the lucky PPP-prize winners – Yay!!!! If you email me via the contact button on my web site with your addresses, I'll post you a package of PPP-prizes including cards, seeds and 'hens with bells on'.

Oh, that's too funny. Far more exciting than the way I pick winners.

I'm glad to see they returned all the raisins at the end ;-)

sorry but I've got another job for your chickens, can they pick me some lottery numbers? I feel my luck might be in!

I'm still laughing at your film clip! I sometimes wonder at the lengths I go to to take pictures for a blog project. Now how would you explain that to your neighbours..er well.. I have this blog you see, and I decided that the chickens should pick the winner... We loved it anyway!

Very much enjoyed the movie! What beautiful hens you have, (not often I say that to a person!) What a great way to do a prize draw, brilliant, and I didn't know hens like raisins so much, interesting. Love Vanessa xxx

They are SO well behaved! My 4 have no table manners. They would be jumping on each other's heads to get to the raisins first! Had you just fed them with treats to slow them down a bit?

I love it when you post videos of your feathery ones. The idea of using chickens and raisins to chose winners was inspired.

Disappointed not to win but the raisin representing me must have been extra tasty! What a Hoot!

You deserve a prize for The Best Draw. It was brilliant and I guess the hens really liked the idea too.
