Warm reds

Do you remember I started making little crochet squares while in the 'sommerhus' in Denmark? Well, they're all finished and joined together - just in time, the evenings are getting chilly (and so is my studio first thing in the morning).

I'm thrilled - the colours are friendly with my cosy Gudrun Sjoden dress and my favourite tomato soup coloured cardi :-)

Oh . . . and it's an excuse to wear the beautiful silver fish Cliff bought for me in Scotland the week after we got engaged.

  3. Gorgeous outfit Celia and thanks for link to Gudrun Sjoden - I do love Scandinavian style.

Catching up with previous posts ... beautiful Ely Cathedral -the 'Ship of the Fens' - great walking country!

Love your Autumn garden photos and saffron Crocus ... and will definitely pop along to the Riverslade Gallery - I feel some retail therapy coming on!

Have a great day. Jeanne x

  8. Oh, those crocheted squares have such harmonious colorways! Well done.

Isn't it fun to begin a project while away from home? I have several favorite sweaters that had their ribbing cast on while I was on a BA flight home from London. Don't think one could bring out those needles these days.

The silver fish pin is a true gem.

Let me again say how much fun it is to visit over here and find some inspiration.

    Best wishes.

  9. This cold is getting me down, so thank you for all the warm comments - they've cheered me up :-)

I need to get another yarn project underway... will it be the sock wool from Denmark or another crochet scarf?
