On my way to the kitchen last night, my eye was caught by the silvery light outside. I ran for my camera and although I knew I wouldn't be able to capture the scene perfectly, this one came close . . .

  1. I noticed precisely that sky last night, but was not nearly organised enough to photograph it!

  2. You have done so well to capture this image, it is no easy matter capturing the mystery of moonshine. I love it when the clouds do that mackerel thing!

  3. oooh, that's special. thank you

  4. Ahhh, your photo is sublimely mysterious and beautiful. Many thanks!

(I would also like to mention how much I enjoyed your previous post about the Birmingham bling. Next best thing to being there.)

  5. It looks surreal. I spotted the beautiful moon last night too but we were busy with jump leads trying to start Ben's car so he could get home!

  6. Celia, your photo is fantastic! I often spend a moment or two, to marvel at the moon. x
