My new Spoonflower shop is now open!

This is a little bit exciting and I have no idea if it will be success . . . but I've opened a new on-line shop! There's been a lot of beavering away behind the scenes and *secret fabric projects* are in the making as I type, but this morning I've opened the doors for the very first time and you can now order rolls of my new Christmas gift wrap designs.

I ordered two rolls as samples printed on matte paper, they were shipped in a sturdy card carton and they are gorgeous! They complement my new Christmas card range which will be available in my etsy shop from next week.

  5. Celia, your Spoonflower designs are very elegant, and will certainly be chosen by lots of folks for wrapping up very special gifts this Christmastime. (Of course, I really believe that any item that might be dressed up in your paper will become very, very special.)

Each color suits the design so well. Bravo! I look forward to seeing the fabric soon.

  6. Oh Celia that gift wrap is very lovely indeed! Any chance that you will be also offering this design as fabric also? or is that what you are maybe hinting at by *secret fabric projects*... I hope that your Spoonflower venture is a success!

  7. It's gorgeous! How did it work out re. shipping from the US ... did you have to pay any duty?

    1. I did, but that was because I ordered a big bundle of fabric as well, for a SecretSewingProject and the bill came to over £135. Smaller orders won't pay duty, but if they are over £15 you may get charged VAT and a couriers fee.

  10. I think you'll really enjoy working with the folks at Spoonflower. I recently did a huge theatrical set that required custom printed wallcoverings that would be RAINED on every night. We ordered eighty yards of custom printed cotton fabric, which worked out wonderfully.

    1. That's a good recommendation! We need a Spoonflower in the UK! but in the meantime I'll sell via the US web site.
